Download Cardumen for macOS

One DMG, signed and notarized. Open it, drag Cardumen to Applications and activate with the code from your email. The app installs the CLI for you.

First steps

  1. Open the DMG and drag Cardumen to Applications.
  2. Open Cardumen. Enter your CARD-XXXXXX code and email, or pick a plan if you have none.
  3. Cardumen installs the cardumen CLI for you and shows the installer output. Then you are in.

Requirements

  • macOS: 12 or later.
  • Space: the exact size shows next to each button once the release is published.
  • Code: CARD-XXXXXX, sent by email after activating a plan or a trial.
  • CLI install: Homebrew, curl, git and openssl. The installer adds minisign via Homebrew if it is missing.

Questions

macOS says the app is from an identified developer. Is that expected?
Yes. Cardumen is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple. Click Open.
I already use the CLI. Do I need the app?
No. The app and the CLI share the same license and the same ~/.cardumen. Keep the CLI, add the app when you want the cockpit.
How do I verify the download?
Compare the SHA-256 shown next to each button with shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/cardumen-macos-*.dmg.
I don't have a code yet.
Pick a plan or start a trial; the code arrives by email. You can download the app first: it asks for the code on launch.
